Hewlett-Packard (HP) produces a wide variety of printers and scanners. These machines serve a range of needs from plain black and white to high-quality archival photo printing. Most of the models currently supported are “plug-and-play” devices that require no hardware configuration. However, HP printers do still require users to begin the installation process. The Setup Wizard is user-friendly but relies on adherence to a very particular setup procedure. Deviating from the setup instructions undermines the automatic installation and can lead to errors.
