How Do You Avoid Damaging RAM During Installation?
Personally, RAM was the first hardware I installed to my motherboard when I was trying to learn how to fix my computer on my own. WIth my friend’s advice in my head, I opened the conputer case (of course, electricity is off) then I searched for the RAM socket. I carefully measured the gaps of the RAM that will be attached to the RAM socket then I opened the clips up and I slowly, cleaned it up with cloth (or vacuum) then pushed the RAM into the socket. This is the crucial part because if you force the RAM into the socket in the wrong position chances are the RAM will break so be careful. FInally, once the RAM is perfectly in place, clip it down gently.
Hardware installation jobs require careful planning and operation. Random Access Memory (RAM) is an important component of your computer that determines the speed and memory of your machine. In case the existing RAM is corrupt, you need to take maximum precaution while installing a new RAM. Take extra care to avoid damaging the RAM when installing it. Select a clean and dry space for RAM installation work. Make sure that the area is clear of all liquids and any prickly items that could hinder your work. Open the computer case slowly. Lay out of the components such as the cover, screws and side panel within easy reach. All these items need to be returned to their original places after the RAM installation work is finished. A wooden floor or rubber mat are best for the installation process. Make sure the room has a humidity control facility and adjust the humidity level by turning on or off the air conditioning or heat. Stay away from static electricity during the installation process. R
