The updo is the trademark of special occasion hairstyles for good reason. The updo looks beautiful, keeps your hair out of your face and adds instant elegance. Unfortunately though, the bigger the hair, the more likely it is to fall. Here’s how to avoid damaging your updo and ruining your event. Create an emergency kit before the special event. Keep it simple, streamlined and small unless you want to drag a backpack full of hairspray around with you. Keep a handful of different sized bobby pins, an extra elastic or two, small clips and a travel size bottle of unscented hairspray to fix any problems. Use common sense.
