How Do You Avoid Academic Probation (College)?
College brings many opportunities–activities, internships, knowledge of different subjects. But there is a downside to college and that is constantly failing courses and the result can lead to a student getting kicked out. Know that most college students have a busy schedule or other interest outside the school, a relationship, partying, hanging out with friends a lot. It’s fine to do all these things but if you lose focus on your studies, it is time to minimize your time partying, put a relationship on break, spend less time with friends and partying or work half-time. Any of these changes can lift the heavy burden off your shoulders. Make a schedule of when to study. Preferably at least two to three hours per day should be fine as it is a healthy balance between school and other interests outside it. Talk to your academic advisor. Most students are assigned to one so get to know yours as they are there to give helpful advice on your schedule, your GPA, the required courses. Get help
