You don’t have to be a professional astronomer to align your Meade telescope. Any amateur star-gazer who can press a button can accomplish the task. Here’s how to do it. Check that the telescope’s locks are tight and that you have correctly attached AutoStar is to the telescope. Turn on the telescope. When “Press 0 to Align or Mode for Menu” appears on the display, press “0” to start automatic alignment. “Automatic Alignment” will appear on the display.
