There are three easy ways that we can do to attract a lot of sunfish and bluegills next to our dock or shoreline that we are fishing. The first thing that we can do is take out our old bread or buns and crumble them up into small pieces. Put them in a bag and head down to the lake. Sprinkle them sparingly into the water. This will attract some fish that are in the area. Do not put too much into the water as you are feeding them and if you feed them too much they will not be hungry for your bait. The next thing to do if you do not have any bread around is to sprinkle oatmeal into the water. Sunfish are curious creatures and will come and try to eat the oatmeal. So not overfeed as they will again will be too full to eat your bait. The last and most effective means is to crush up egg shells and sprinkle them in the water.
