How Do You Attach Flagstone To Concrete Piers?
Flagstone is flat and about 1 to 2 inches thick. They vary in circumference and are assembled much like a puzzle. Flagstones are perfect for covering concrete piers, which can be done in one to two days, depending on the size and scope of the project. Cut 1/2-inch deep lines in the piers using a concrete cutting blade. The lines will ensure that the mortar bonds the flagstone to the piers. Cut the lines horizontally and space them 4 inches apart. Clean the piers with muriatic acid. Use an acid brush to apply the acid, scrubbing vigorously. Leave the acid on for 10 minutes, and then remove the acid using a pressure washer.
