Depending on your car stereo, you should have at least one option as far as connecting an MP3 player. An “Aux In” connection would give you the best sound quality, followed by a cassette adapter or wireless adapter. The components for any of these methods can be found at any electronics retailer relatively cheaply. The actual setup for each of them is very easy and straightforward. Confirm that your stereo has an “Aux In” connection. It is a small (and usually labeled) port generally located on the front of your stereo deck. Connect one end of the 1/8 inch Aux cable into the 3.5mm headphone port on your MP3 player. Connect the other end of the 1/8 inch Aux cable into the “Aux In” connection on your car stereo.
