How Do You Assert Yourself With A “Bride-Zilla”?
Most women encounter the dreaded “Bride-zilla” at one point or another. It’s important not to let these women push us around! Here are some ways you can take matters into your own hands. The second the bride starts to get out of hand, let her know. So many of us wait until something is out of control to do something about it. When she starts making unreasonable demands simply say, “Think of what you are asking of people. If people asked that of you, would you want to do that?” Make her “check in” with herself. Say no to unreasonable demands. If she wants you to buy yourself a special bra that costs a fortune to wear to her wedding, don’t do it. What is the worst that could happen? You could also be sneaky and just pretend you bought the bra. There is no way that on her wedding day she will be checking that everyone has done so.
