How Do You Assemble & Install An Advantage Sports Rack Asr Model Bike Carrier?
For owners/users of the popular bike rack from Advantage Sports Rack, here are several beneficial instructions and tips on how to assemble and install the product. Assemble rack as follows: • Align holes in upright with holes in receiver hitch attachment. • Insert the bolt into the lower hole of the receiver hitch attachment and upright and tighten nut to the point where the upright has movement. • Insert clevis pin through upper hole of the receiver hitch attachment. • Insert bridge pin into the hole in the end of the clevis pin. • Slide assembled rack into the receiver hitch on your vehicle. Carefully insert the enclosed hitch bolt into the nearest hole while aligning the nut retainer/anti-wobble device (inside the tube) so that the nut is on the side where you will insert the bolt. Then securely tighten. Make sure you add the lock washer before you install the bolt. • Insert bicycle-carrying arms into round holes in the top plate. Align detent pinhole in each carrying arm with hole
