How Do You Assemble A Smoked Fish Platter?
As showy as it is tasty, a fish platter with all the trimmings is a great way to feed a crowd. Moreover, the design-your-own component allows for interactive, hands-on fun. Place eggs in a saucepan and add enough cold water to cover. Bring water to a boil over medium-low heat. Once water is boiling, reduce heat slightly and boil eggs for 12 minutes. Drain eggs and allow them to cool. Peel and coarsely chop eggs. Clean lettuce leaves and allow them to dry. Line platter with lettuce. Begin assembling your smoked fish platter. Arrange smoked fish on plate along with eggs, onions, caperberries, cornichon, mustards, dill, olives and lemon wedges. Serve with bread, cream cheese and crème fraîche.
