Use a wire cutter to cut a small opening on the side the lid. This small opening should be just large enough to accommodate the wick material. Screw the lid on tightly. Make sure the wick is fixed in position. Use a thumbtack to punch a few holes as close to the mouth of the bottle from step 2 as possible.
