How Do You Assemble A Football Visor?
Wearing a visor attached to your football helmet prevents eye injuries and keeps bright light out of your eyes. However, many high schools prohibit the use of any shade of visor other than clear. Double-check that your visor is legal before attaching it to your helmet. Remove every screw that holds the face mask and helmet together. Slide the visor into the main vision area of the football helmet. The tabs on the top left and right front of the visor need to be on the inside of the face mask. Attach the visor’s two screw clips onto the lateral bars of the face mask. Align the clips with the corresponding marks on each side of the bottom of the visor. Screw both screws into the clips to attach the visor to the face mask. Attach the face mask, with visor in place, onto the helmet by fastening each screw back into place.
