Fresh flowers can always brighten up a room. However, fresh flowers also wither and die. Consider using silk flowers instead. Besides saving money, an advantage with silk flowers is that you can change them quickly for seasons and moods. If you want to keep a fresh flower look without spending money every week on new blooms, a silk flower arrangement could be your solution. Cut out the floral foam to fit securely in the vase. The foam should be taller than it is wide and fill up at least two-thirds of the vase. Once you cut the right size, glue the bottom of the foam to the inside bottom of the vase. Pick tallest flowers first. These should be placed in the middle of the basket so that they stand out from every viewing angle.
