Organizing kitchen cabinets is important to the efficiency and flow of any kitchen. Disorganized dishes can be chipped and broken or get lost in in the search for a specific piece. Dishes should not be stacked so they are difficult to retrieve or precariously balanced to conserve space. Move pans, cookware and storage dishes to another cabinet if possible. Hang pans from a pan rack if cabinet space is limited, or buy a small kitchen storage cabinet for mixing bowls and smaller pans. Clean the cabinet floor with a damp towel and cut cushioning shelf liner to fit the bottoms of the cabinets. Place the shelf liner inside the cabinets. Analyze which dishes are used daily and keep them separate from occasionally used dishes. Place little-used dishes and cups on the top shelf of the cabinet. Put special or occasional dishes in a glass-front china cabinet or display case.
