How Do You Apply Resin To A Table?

• Get a 2″ to 3″ scraper and a brush. • Get resin, most resins are comprised of two compounds that you mix together right before application. • Prepare the surface to be treated by cleaning it and removing all lint and dust. • Make sure your surface is level. • Prepare for some run off on the edges, by laying newspaper or cardboard underneath! • Open (or mix) resin per instructions, do not shake (it adds bubbles) • If using a mix, pour over center of surface and spread with scraper, don’t worry about marks or pattern, it automatically levels out. • If using a pre-mix, dip brush in resin and brush from center to the outside. When done, stay close, you’ll have drip and run off that will need to be cleaned or wiped up.
