Select an eye shadow kit with 3 shades in the same family that compliment your clothing and eyes. Brush your eyelids with face powder. By providing this base for your eye shadow it will last longer and look better for several hours. Load the brush with the lightest color in your kit and blow off the excess. Apply this color all over your eye lid, just as you did the base powder. Prepare the brush for the medium color eye shadow, again blowing off the extra powder.
