How Do You Apply Lowlights To Hair?
“I’m now going to proceed to go ahead and put the lowlights in between the highlights, I’m going to start from the back and do one in between all of the highlights. I’m going to start back here because this generally tends to be the darkest part on the top area of the hair and I’m going to do these even finer than I did the highlights and I’m going to do it smaller sections so it works with the wider sections and helps to blend in. Doing a couple of different techniques on one head helps sometimes to make it look more natural and make it more interesting, again I’m lightly putting it up at the root area and working it through the ends. You want to be very careful when you’re doing techniques like this that you don’t disturb the other foils so I always gently move them around if necessary but it’s really best not to have to touch them at all.
