How Do You Apply Lipstick For Stage Makeup?
“Now I’ve got my lips lined. What I like to do is just kind of touch a little bit of loose powder over the top to kind of set that lip liner. As you’re on stage and you’re sweating or you’re singing, lipstick has the tendency to kind of come off, so you want to make sure you set the base before you put the lipstick on. I’m just putting a little of powder over the top. You can if you want just use your lipstick, but I like to brush it on. You really want to make sure you get a lot of lipstick on your brush. Just kind of fill everything in. You can see that the more you put down, the redder it becomes. It’s still looking a little pink as we’re starting. There we go. You can see it’s better now. I’m just doing the tops of my lips now. It really does make a difference to take a little bit, so I’m going to try and not mess it up.
