How Do You Apply Inexpensive Artificial Nails?

If you do not have the funds to pay for a professional nail technician, try this low-cost alternative. • Visit a local dollar-store, such as Dollar Tree, and purchase a $1.00 pack of nails. Choose between a variety of nails, from French manicure, to stylized ones with airbrushed designs. • Purchase a glue for artificial nails, such as “Nailbond” from Sally’s Beauty Supply (US $2.29). • Clean your natural nails to remove any polish residue. • Select the nails that go on each finger and set them to the side. The artificial nails have already been pre-sized to match natural finger nail sizes. • Apply a small drop of the nail glue onto one of your natural nails. • Mount one of the artificial nails on top of your nautral nails. Hold them still for a couple of seconds to let the glue cure and bond with the two surfaces. • Complete this process for each of your other nails. Use a file to shape your nails and contour them to the desired look. Now you’ll have beautiful nails.
