At-home clip-in hair extensions are just like a hair accessory that you can apply and remove without too much effort or professional experience, but they give you about the same effect as if you went to the salon and got them installed by a certified professional. It helps, though–if you are using clip-in extensions–that your hair isn’t too short or too thin to hide the clips that will hold your extensions in place. Brush your hair free of tangles. Decide exactly where you want your hair extensions to start. Part your hair where you want the extension to clip in. Make the part the width that the extensions are and pull the top section of the part out of the way and hold it up with clips.
