How Do You Apply Fake Eyelashes For Stage Makeup?
“We’re back now and we’re going to continue with our false eyelashes. We’ve trimmed them up and now we’re going to actually apply them. This takes practice. What I like to do to make sure I’m not getting too much glue on my eyelashes is I actually run a little bit of glue along the bottom of the base like this and then I use a bobby pin or some sort of straight pin to use as my “glue tool” if you will. I’m going to put the glue onto the lashes. Just pick up a lash. You’re just going to sweep a little bit of glue along the edge. You might need some more. Just sweep it along the edge like this. You want to wait 20 seconds until the glue is a little bit more sticky and gummy. Then you’re going to apply the lash. You can blow on it a little bit if you want. I like to kind of pull my eye so I’ve got a nice straight eyelash to work with and I put it just a little bit above my natural lash line on my actually eyelid.
