You can fill an Adobe Fireworks vector object, such as a shape, with a texture fill. This texture fill will give a rich to subtle texture to your object and coexist with a solid fill. The steps below will show you how you can apply a texture fill to your existing or next Firework vector object. Start Adobe Fireworks and open an existing document that contains a vector object, such as a shape, that you want to fill with a texture. You can also choose to start a new document and add a shape to it by using the Shape tool from the Fireworks toolbox. Select the vector object or shape you want to fill with a texture by clicking on it. When you see blue sizing handles on the corners of the object, you will know it is selected.
