Follow the steps below to apply a solid color fill in the choice of your color to your Fireworks vector objects. Start Adobe Fireworks and open an existing document from your files that contains a vector object, such as a shape, to which you want to apply a fill. Alternatively, you can start a new document and use the “Shape” tool or other vector tool from the Fireworks toolbox to add an object that can be filled. Select the object you want to fill by clicking on it. You will see blue sizing handles surrounding the selected object. Notice that the properties for this object are now displayed in the Properties inspector at the bottom of your screen.
