How Do You Appliqué With Fusible Web?

One of the easiest ways to dress up clothing is to appliqué designs onto them with fusible web. You can take your child’s plain t-shirt, pair of jeans or sweats and turn them into the hottest new outfits. Trim the material that has the design that you want to put onto the clothing. Cut the material in a square larger then the picture you are using. Cut a piece of fusible web large enough to cover the square of material with your design on it. Place the rough side of the fusible web against the design. The paper covered side should be away from your appliqué design. Turn the fabric design over and iron on the paper side. The fusible web will melt and adhere to your design. Remove the paper backing. Trim your design down to size. Cut out the shape of the picture that you are using as your appliqué. Place your design where you want it on your piece of clothing and iron on top of your design. The fusible web will adhere your design to the clothing.
