How do you all feel about more nuclear power stations being built in Britain?

Careful there! If you say “to add insult to injury…” better look at the facts. Britain is the only country in the world to have what’s called a TV pick up. As soon as the credits role on EastEnders there is a three gigawatt surge in power demand as the nation puts on its kettles. Three gigawatts is equivalent to over one and a quarter million kettles going on at the same time. It’s such a massive amount that we have to borrow electricity from France to stop the lights going off. I personally am not a fan of nuclear power myself but realistically: We all talk about how bad it is but WE have to change OUR ways not blame others. These companies only cater to our “needs” as long as we use it they will deliver. Going all green would be great and all that jazz but in my rented flat everything is pretty much relying still on those big energy companies.
