How Do You Align The Finderscope Of The Sky-Watcher SK909AZ3 Refractor Telescope?
The Sky-Watcher SK909AZ3 Refractor Telescope is considered a great telescope for those interested in observing the sky, especially at night. The Finderscope is a pointing tool that uses a glass-coated window for superimposing a red dot while viewing. When aligned properly, you can view the object(s) neatly and quickly. Select an object to view from the telescope. Make sure that the object is at a distance of more than 500 yards from the telescope. Point the main telescope towards the object. Adjust the telescope to bring the object to the center of the viewing area of the eyepiece. You can do so by rotating the telescope and angling it towards the object. Check the Finderscope. Ensure that the object centered on the telescope is bisected by the crosshair. Make sure that it is bisected both horizontally as well as vertically. Use three alignment screws on the Finderscope to make adjustments to bisect the object with crosshairs in case it is not at the center of a 5X24 Finderscope. Note
