How Do You Age Paper With Coffee?
Antiquing paper can add that special and authentic touch to a collage, invitation or any other paper craft project. There are many antiquing methods you can use to get this desired look. But one of the simplest and most effective techniques is to age paper with coffee. Use a good quality laser paper and print your invitation on it. You can use the paper for any paper project of your choice. For a creased effect, you can crumple up the paper and then smooth it out again. Age paper with coffee by placing 2 tablespoons of instant coffee into a 1/2 cup of boiling water. Stir and let it cool a minute. Take a large baking sheet and place the piece of paper inside it. Pour some of the coffee solution over the paper. Use as much of the solution as you feel is necessary. Use the sponge brush to spread the solution over the entire piece of paper.
