How Do You Adopt A Purebred Dog?
There are hundreds of breed specific rescues across the nation. You may not always find one in your specific area of state. The best way is ask friend , family, your veterinarian etc. You can also google your specific breed and add the word rescue.
Also take into consideration although you can get a great dog from a breed rescue there are often times good reasons these dogs ended up in resuces. Some may have certain traits or behavioral issues. They may not liekmen or women or children or other animals.
Also make sure ot reaserch the breed you are interested in. Another reason these dogs end up in rescues is they were purchased without the person knowing the breed traits. Make sure it is a breed that matches your life style.
