How Do You Adopt A Dog Rescued From A Puppy Mill?
Most people are not familiar with the term “puppy mill”. They think it is a place where puppies live or they are born. That is true, but it is not a good place, a nice place, or a nurturing place. It is a place where dogs are abused physically and mentally. They are commonly kept two, three, or more in a crate; they never see a human; they are forced to relieve themselves and eat in this crate; and they are kept to breed other puppies that will then be sold for a huge profit. These dogs are always pure-bred dogs. No dog deserves this fate. From time to time, there is a puppy mill “bust.” Someone notifies the humane society or other rescue group where one is operating. Even though these mills are against the law, they exist until someone tells authorities where it is and the dogs can be rescued. I have recently adopted a puppy mill Maltese. Most of the time, the breeds found in a puppy mill are small ones, but you can find a bigger dog if that is what you prefer. If you are interested i
