How Do You Adjust The Spray Pattern Of A Rainbird Sprinkler Head?
Rain Bird sprinkler systems are preferred by many professional installers not just for the reliability and quality of the product, but because it is easy to adjust their spray pattern to fit your landscape. The factory settings may not be appropriate to ensure proper coverage, once you have the sprinkler system installed. You will need a screwdriver and about 20 minutes to adjust and test the Rain Bird sprinkler heads. Remove the cap on your Rain Bird sprinkler head. Depending on the model you have, the cap will either be an orange or black plastic cap. Insert your flat head screwdriver into the small gap between the cap and head and pry up. Turn the center screw (the radius adjustment screw) clockwise to increase the spray pattern and counterclockwise to decrease it. Replace the cap and test the system.
