Some programs require specific color settings to work properly. You might also prefer your screen’s appearance with more or fewer possible colors. These instructions are for Windows 98. From the Start menu, click Settings and then Control Panel. Double-click Display. Click the Settings tab. Open the Color menu and select the number of colors that you want to display. Click OK.
