Most packaged mini blinds can be manually rolled up to the height you desire, but the length can also be cut and adjusted to fit your windows perfectly. So, grab those scissors, and snip your mini blinds to size. Use the measuring tape to measure the height of your windows. This height will match the desired length of your mini blinds. Release the string ladders by detaching the plastic plugs fitted to the underside of the bottom rail. Then untie the knots of the lift cord that are knotted on either side, as well as the inside of the bottom rail. Now remove the bottom rail. Roll open your mini blinds and remove the number of slats from the bottom to match the measurement (height) of your windows. You can do so by sliding the slats out from the loops fitted to the string ladders. Retain these slats.
