You can adjust the LCD contrast on the iRiver iFP 700 series audio player/recorder/FM tuner by following these steps. Press and hold the Navi/Menu button in the center of the player. This will bring up the menu system. Select the “Display” menu. Use the fast-forward and rewind buttons to scroll through the menus. Select the “LCD Contrast” option. Use the volume buttons to navigate through the submenu. Select the function with the Navi/Menu button. Adjust the LCD settings. Use the fast-forward and rewind buttons to adjust the LCD contrast. Moving the slider to the right increases contrast and moving it to the left decreases contrast. Press “Play” to exit the menu. Or hold the Navi/Menu button again.
