How Do You Adjust Oil Flow For A Husqvarna Chainsaw?

Over the years, Husqvarna has made a name for itself as a reliable manufacturer of durable power tools, including chainsaws. While Husqvarna chainsaws come with the oil flow factory set, most models allow the user to adjust the flow of oil to the blade. Adjusting the oil flow can help save wear and tear on your chain, and decrease oil waste. Locate the ignition switch on the left side of the chainsaw, and ensure it has been slid all the way to the right hand, or STOP position. Locate the oil flow adjustment screw on the underside of the chainsaw. It may not be clearly marked, but look for a rotary-type screw where the oil flows to the blade, on the blade side of the saw. Use your flat head screwdriver to turn the screw and adjust the flow. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the flow and counter-clockwise to decrease the flow. Start your chainsaw and verify you have you desired amount of oil flow to the blade.
