These are adjustable height shocks, that let you lift or lower the ride height of the vehicle for performance tuning, or just for show, by using some basic tools. Lift up the vehicle using the jack and place it on jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is secure before you crawl underneath it. Reach around the tire and access the coil over shock. There is a threaded body on the shock, and at the bottom of the coil there is a adjustable base. On the side of that base, there is a hole for an Allen key.
