Get a can of refrigerant at walmart and there’s a black cap on the line going to your compressor. It’s the only one that will fit the can. If it don’t fit that ain’t it. If you read the can it will say that if it’s in the red (pressure) then not to service it. That means that you have a leak in your system and it has let the gas expand. you then will have to take it to a service center and have the old pulled out and new put in. I was told I needed to chase my leak (that was 3 years ago now and I’m still blowing cold) That’s better than 500 bucks for a new condenser.
