How Do You Add Music To A Video Podcast?
In a video, you generally need to have some music to propel the story forward. Even if your particular type of podcast doesn’t require background music, it’s nice to add some either in the intro, outro, or perhaps during transitions. Here’s how you would do that in Final Cut Pro. Start by having Final Cut Pro open and your video logged and captured onto your computer. Decide on the music that you want, and save it onto your computer. Import the music files onto Final Cut Pro by going to File/Import and choosing it from your computer. After you import it, the file will show up on your browser window. Click on the music file and drag it onto your timeline. Decide which section you want to use and click on the razor blade in order to cut it up. Drag the music track to the proper placement. Play it again and listen to it with your video. Keep moving it until it’s positioned in the exact place where you want the music to come up in your video podcast.
