You can put the Karaoke music in the Audio/Music track of WMM (windows movie maker). Just drag and drop the file in there from the Imported Media pane. To sing over the Karaoke, you need to click on Tools, Narrate Timeline.I would suggest you click on How do I add narration link first, to read up on the correct procedure for narrating. The instructions are geared toward general narration and not music, but in any case, it gives recording instructions. Aside from that, all you need to do is click the Start Narration button and sing into your microphone.
