Google Deskbar is similar to another one of Google’s tools: the Toolbar. The main difference is that you can access the Google Deskbar without being online. What’s also nice is that you can customize how you search with the Google Deskbar. Download Google Deskbar onto your computer. You can find it by entering “Google Deskbar” into your search engine. Go to the search bar and click on the small arrow located next to the search bar. Go to “Options” and click on “Customized Searches” then click on “Add.” Choose the page you would like to add and keep the “Customized Searches Description” window open. Pick a word and enter it into your search bar, then click on “Search.” Highlight the URL and drop it into the “Custom Search Description” window.
