Photoshop Elements 6 includes a variety of different brush shapes that can be used with the Paintbrush tool to create artistic designs in the application. Most of the default brushes run the gamut of soft- or hard-tipped brushes of different sizes, but the choices are rather limited. For designers who desire more flexibility in their brush choices, Photoshop Elements 6 also includes the ability to install your own brushes that you download from the Internet or purchase on an installation CD. Copy the brush files that you downloaded from the Internet or installed off of a CD by highlighting the filenames and choosing “Copy” from the “Edit” menu.
