How do you add artists name & song into itunes?
Sorry for hitting you with so many terms you may not be familiar with. Simply stated “metadata” can be described as Data about data & While I’m sure there are ways to get itunes to download the necessary metadata, I DO NOT OWN AN iPOD, NOR DO I USE iTUNES, so the information and methodologies I’m about to describe are done OUTSIDE of the iTunes interface and once your ID3 tags are in place, your iPod & iTunes will immediately recognize them . Method one: if you play an MP3 file in Winamp, you can go into the “view file info” mode and click on the “auto tag” button located in the lower right hand corner of the first tab, you can also navigate to the second tab over & click on “download art” button, then select the proper artwork (if available) to complete the tagging process, If these two downloads are successful, iTunes & your ipod will not only display the proper title, but will also display the album cover.
