How Do You Add Another Internal Hard Drive To Mac Pro In OSX 10.5?

0

The Mac Pro is the only Macintosh that can add a second hard drive into its frame. The procedure only requires a single tool commonly found around the home, along with a second internal hard drive purchased from a computer store or electronics shop. The Mac’s OSX 10.5 operating system will recognize the presence of the added internal hard drive, which can then be formatted into one of the many formats that OS X 10.5 can work with. Unplug the power cable from the Mac Pro. Pull the release lever on the back left top edge up with your fingers. Pull off the side panel with your fingers. Pull one of the empty hard drive assembly trays out of the compartment in the top section of the Mac Pro with your fingers. Remove the screws from both sides of the hard drive assembly tray with the Phillips jeweler’s screwdriver. Hold the internal hard drive that is to be added to the Mac Pro by the front end with the electronics facing up. Slide the internal hard drive into the open end of the hard drive
