Google Reader is an online program designed by Google to allow users to gather all of their favorite websites and news feeds onto one site for easier viewing. The website uses RSS feed links to deliver updated links, news and information from outside websites that the user subscribes to. In the case of stocks and stock tickers, you can subscribe to a feed from a stock website that will then be available for viewing in Google Reader. Visit the Google Reader website. Enter your Google email account and password and click “Sign In”. Click on “Create an Account” if you do not have a Gmail or Google account. Click on the “Add Subscription” button on the left-hand side of the Google Reader website. In the text box that appears, type in the feed URL of the stock ticker you want to add.
