The corner-to-corner move in step aerobics is basically a combination of steps, usually consisting of eight counts, where the foot steps onto the opposite corner of the aerobics bench—right foot to left corner and left foot to right corner. Adding a hop within this combination usually comes after the lead foot is planted on the bench and the second foot is brought up from the ground. For this example, we’ll setup the corner to corner move, keeping the count to eight, before incorporating the hop. Please note that all steps will be performed facing the aerobics bench. On the first count, step onto the left corner of the aerobics bench with your right foot, and then, on your second count, draw your left foot off the ground, bending at the knee, until your left thigh is approximately parallel with the floor.
