How do you acquire skills, runes and weapon mods?
There are three ways to acquire things; with Balthazar Faction, through playing PvE or by purchasing skill-packs for real currency in the ingame store. Balthazar Faction: You get these points by playing/winning/killing in PvP. When you have enough points you can go to a Priest of Balthazar to unlock desired skills, runes and weapon mods. NOTE: Skills unlocked in this way will only be available to your PvP-only characters. PvE: For skills there are 3 ways to unlock them in PvE: Skillquest, Skilltrainer or Capturing. • Skillquest: As part of the reward for finish a quest you get 1 or more skills. NOTE: In GW: Factions there are very few skill quests compared to GW: Prophecies. • Skilltrainer: Here you can exchange skillpoints along with an increasing amount of gold (with a maximum of 1000 gold) for skills. • Capturing: You need a Signet of Capture along with a dead boss of your profession, this method is mostly used for Elite skills.
