How Do You Access Windshield Washer Reservoir?
“Hi, my name is Nathan McCullough on behalf of Expert Village. In these clips we’re going to talk about some of the possible problems with your windshield washer system and some hints and tips to get better performance out of it. In this clip we’re going to talk about the service procedure for removing your inner fender well, that’s this plastic component here that you can see, in order to gain access to your windshield washer pump and reservoir. I’m going to guess it’s approximately 75% of vehicles have the reservoir and pump located in this location, it would either be on the passenger side or the driver side. I have my quarter inch drive ratchet and an 8mm socket. I’m going to take it and you can see the bolt right there, that’s going to have to come out. Most of the time you won’t have to remove the entire inner fender well. You just have to take enough bolts loose in order to gain access to your solvent reservoir.
