How Do You Access The Kings Creek Cascades In Lassen Volcanic National Park?
The journey from the trail head down to Kings Creek Falls in Lassen Volcanic National Park is as exciting as actually reaching the falls. Several hundred feet of stream races over land and boulder, cascading downward toward the precipice. The trail follows this journey, in its entirety, through a virgin forest heavy laden with ferns, spring flowers and deer. The trail is not a difficult trek by any means, though sometimes muddy and treacherous when near the torrent. The rewarding falls actually provide a necessary respite to break or have lunch, or just relax extensively before returning to the park road.
