How Do You Access A World Of Warcraft Private Server?
This article explains the technical procedure to access a World of Warcraft private server. I used Windows XP for this guide, but other computers should work similarly. Go to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft. You’ll probably want to make a shortcut to get here, because this is where most of the work will take place. Create a folder on your desktop called “Blizzard WoW Realmlist”. Copy “realmlist.wtf” from the WoW program files and paste it into the folder you just made on the desktop. Now that your backup is made, you’re ready to go ahead. Now, open Notepad. Go to File -> Open and open C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf. To see the file, you may need to switch Files of Type: from .txt to All Files. Delete everything in the file.
