How do wrestlers make themselves bleed?
Although wrestlers sometimes bleed for real most of the time it is fake blood. There are two ways a wrestler makes himself bleed. For imitating internal bleeding a wrestler will have a capsule, which contains blood coloured liquid, in his mouth. When the time comes in the match for him to ‘bleed’ he will bite the capsule so that it breaks and the blood flows out of his mouth. Another way wrestlers make themselves bleed is to have a razor blade in their tights and when the camera is off of them they will ‘blade’ in the right place to draw blood. Sometimes the referees also carry a blade in case it falls out of the wrestler’s tights or there is nowhere for him to keeps it.
